WHY BEESWAX

When beeswax candles burn, they clean the air like a great, natural, air purifier. Just like lightening, beeswax produces negative ions when burned. These negative ions attach to positive ions (like dust, pollen, mold, odor, toxins) floating in the air and this process cleans the air.

Beeswax Candles are not as common as the most popular sister wax: Soy. But the beeswax is almost twice as expensive due to some of the following factors:

** Beeswax has a higher burn temperature, meaning that your beeswax candle has a longer burn time and can handle a higher degree of heat in whatever atmosphere it is in.

**Beeswax is eco-friendly, biodegradable, non-carcinogenic and non-hazardous.

**Beeswax is great even as an unscented candle in its natural form it will burn a naturally sweet beeswax aroma

In an environmental impact: The soy industry (for soy wax) is closely linked to deforestation. Soybean production has caused forests to be cleared and tilled, leading to destroying habitats and soil erosion. Whereas Beeswax is what was left over after extracting honey. The honeycomb containing the honey is capped with beeswax when the honey is ripe and ready for storage. The beeswax has to be removed in order to harvest the honey. Once harvested, the honeycomb is put back into the hive to be reused by the bees.

As a luxury candle company, we are proud to be using 100% organic beeswax and natural, safe scents for all of our products!
